Has anyone been out to the
Cleland Hills.
The hills lie west of the Mereenie Oil Field which in turn lies south west of
Alice Springs

I have Googled up heaps of hits on
aboriginal rock art in the
Cleland Hills , but have yet to make the trip .I would love to go there . Is it in an aboriginal reserve ?

Yes, it is on aboriginal land and we are at present in negotiation with elders to visit the area. Seems like permission will be given. My mate and co-driver is a white fella tribal elder of another clan.
