Is it just me or not, but according to my screen, the last post on this
forum prior to this is PostID: 28585 Posted: 03 Dec 06:30
That means that no one has posted anything for nearly 2 1/2 days.
How can this be. Is there something wrong with the site or is it my system.

No, I am not. Not that that would be a bad thing in some respects. I could handle a couple of months there if you are offering to sponsor me. Ha Ha Ha. Only joking.

Well a very interesting thing just happened after I submitted that post.
All the posts since 03 Dec 06:30, have now appeared on my screen. Thsi is after me trying everything I can think of, such as exiting site, pressing F5 to refresh etc etc.
Anyway, not to worry. it has obviously sorted itself out.

Cruiser - sorry for wasting your time with my previous post...anyway what happen is that normally you computer keeps a copy of web pages you have been to ...so when you go back again they load up quicker (because they load from the computer not the actiual website)..what you were observeing was the saved web page from your previous visit. After you made a post the stored webpage was updated.
Cheers
Greg

In addition to F5 to refresh, you can also do Shift-F5 to refresh a proxy cache.

I think the site server went down earlier today, So may have been an issue associated with the glitch.
Fixed now so don't worry about it.

You did not waste my time at all. The reson for my post was to learn whats going on, and it seems from your last reply that you have helped me do so.
Thanks,
