Apologies for such a lame question but where is the wheelbrace located in a GQ Patrol? I have a horrible feeling
mine may have gone walkabout but can't be sure as I don't know where it is supposed to live in the vehicle.

if I remember its under the middle seats..
But I got a 't' brace as they are usually easier to work with than the OEM L shaped ones..

The long extension lives under the middle row seats.
The L shaped brace and short extension should be in a black vinyl bag tied down under the drivers
seat (with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver)

On the GU it is in a pounch inside the jack recess in the back passenger compartment.
Got me stuffed, they put the spare on the back door so it is easy to get to when you are fully loaded. Yet the jack, tools and jack hadle are buried inside where you have to unload everything to get to.

The solution is a
well designed storage system.
I know Nissan should have done better but even
my home made storage system allows ready access to the jack and tools.
Mine cost me about $100 and an afternoon of head scratching.
