Ah Russell,
Glad to see you back as I did want to send a message. I have been trying to buy some of your Cruiser oil for my....Cruiser actually. Informed by your website of your agent's whereabouts I drove across Melbourne to TJM in Coburg to be informed that they had sent all their Cruiser oil back to their Dandenong head office 'because they didn't sell enough of it to make it worthwhile'. Furthermore, they suggested you guys didn't do enough to promote it!
Now Dandenong is just a little too far and so it was off to Supacheap for the Penrite.
So I reckon it would be good if you had another chat to your agents (or found some new ones). That way I can give your oil a try-and so can a few others.

Thanks for the response. With the greatest of respect could I just ask if you have ever been to Melbourne? If so , you would probably be aware that Melbourne has one of the largest urban sprawls in the world. Sunbury, lovely as it is, unfortunately, sits on the northern extreme of this great metropolis. I happen to live in Northcote which is more centrally placed. I certainly have no real experience in marketing but I should think (others are welcome to comment here) that to obtain a greater level of penetration of your product that a few more outlets are required and would be welcomed following the report on your oil in 4WD Monthly mag.
Anyway if you plan to visit to see for yourself, we do have a spare bedroom. Could you please just bring a drum of oil with you? Alternatively how much does it cost to have it delivered?

Mate, born and bred Benalla, lived and worked in Melb for a few years but it has certainly spread out since.

we can mail the product direct to you at a cost of $1.00 per litre.

we are currently looking at 4WD monthly for advertising early next year and part of the focus is to find new dealers as we do believe that we do not have enough of them spread out to make it easier for customers to buy, as per your comments.

hey, thanks for the offer of the bed but i know you will understand that i may have a few old girlfriends down there to look up, one in particular, so guess where i will be.

Now Russell, you know you can't come the Forum here and tell everyone you're going to do some advertising somewhere else without mention of doing MORE with us too? tee hee hee... and perhaps you missed the post from a few weeks ago where everyone said they didn't like the mags anymore? When I am talking to the big ad agencies they are so excited about the internet now - they are saying "the web is going to be big next year...", as if they've just discovered it! So, sorry to hijack your post but come and talk to me before you commit to the mags too much eh!
