Rick,
Pump em up to full for what ever bags you have.
Load up the rig.
Let air out until rear just starts to sag.
They are not designed to lift.

often blow my load on the fun bags but I don't see how it matters which order you do it in.
It's always an estimation of 'normal pressures' and added load.

for internal coil bags - inflate first then adjust, for secondary external bags or primary bags then do as you please.
if for some reason the airbags in the dash blow up - very very bad :-))))

I generally know from previous experience roughly what pressure I want in my airbags. Pump them up first.
Fine tune by letting a little air out after rechecking ride height loaded.
Ride height loaded is a little below unloaded.
With upgraded springs in the rear, run about 15 psi in the bags.

Instructions say to blow up first and then let excess out to set your levels after the vehicle is loaded. Apparently this makes sure they are seated in place correctly. The other way apparently increses the possibility of the bage chafing as it works itself into posistion.

thanks for all the answers guys and gals. had a chance to play on the weekend just gone and managed to finaly get a rear wheel completely of the ground....:),(its amazing how much flex there is in stock patrol
suspension).
with 5psi in the bags they moved of the bottom
seat and were sitting in the middle of the coil, but as soon as the patrol was level, they were back where they should be. it will be interesting to see what happens when they are blown up and the patrol is loaded.
