Does any one know of any trye dealers on the Northside of Brissy associated with this site. Typed into the directory and Bridgestone head office come up. Does this mean all Bridgestone dealers will offer discount when producing EO card??
I know to get prices from elsewhere before being fleeced even with the discount, have been around long enough to understand overinflated price less discount equals ripped off :-)).
Part two of this question is has anyone used (with good results) any other allterain on their GU apart from the Bridgestone Duelers. The last two of this brand have not lasted particularly
well and I am considering another brand but don't know
where to start.
Thanks in Advance Trevor.

HI Trevor
Dont know too much about the first part of your query and I have a Series 80 cruiser, but I have found I get a good run out of BF Goodrich ATs. (around 60/70 Ks) in 3 sets with a lot of horse float towing in that. There is a lot of stuff in here about Tyres and mileage etc.
Agree with you about
the rip offs.
Howard.

Thanks Howard,
There is a lot of stuff in this
forum about tyres/vehicle combinations. I just wanted to know what other GU owners have come to expect out of their tyres km wise. I have got big km's out of 3 pairs of Duelers but the second last pair I bought (which had to be replaced today) I only got 45000km. I am used to the 80+ I have got out of the others. The decision was made clearer today when I worked out, the front pair I still have on the car now have travelled 34000km with 7.5mm of tread left (about 65%). Thought this to be OK so decided to go with the devil I know.
I did think hard about the BFG's as plenty of people have good comments about them, in the end I get similar km's to what BFG owners report they get but the Duelers ended up being $35/tyre cheaper. Hence another pair of Duelers now reside on the back end of my car (as of 3pm today).
Thanks again Trevor.
