There must be folks out there who have fitted snatch points to current Prado. I bought it for towing and it's great for that,(Diesel auto) but now joining a 4wd club & getting the off roadbug I have been told by Toyota Dealer, Toyota Tech. Dept. & now 3 other fourby joints there is nowhere to attach them to the chassis. (I have Toyota Alloy Bullbarso no go there either!) this model has been on the road for 3yrs or so and I can't believe all these guys are climbing under my car & saying I dunno.Someone must have an answer.( I live S.E.Melboune)

Gday, Mac - there is a company making bolt on recovery points and doubler plates for these prados, they are called outback ideas , or outback products.

They also make those hayman hitch recovery hooks etc.

Sorry mate i dont know their number.

Am I missing something?

From what I read, I am making an outrageous assumption that Toyota produce a 4wd without recovery points.

Surely this can't be so???
