Hi Folks,

Just wondering if any of the stand-alone, ie self-contained units such as Navman, Garmin Street Pilot etc can have OziExplorer loaded into them to be used when away from the beaten track?

Any specific model names would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

John.

Any pocket PC with a GPS will run Oziexplorer CE. The GPS can be either part of the unit or plugged in such as a CF GPS.

Thanks Utemad. Unfortunately I already have 2 Palm PDA's, one of which will run Tomtom if I get it from O/S, but not the OziExplorer.

I would have extreme difficulty convincing the Leader of the Opposition that we need a third....Hence the desire for a non PDA solution.

Why not sell one or both of your Palm PDAs on Ebay or similar? Then buy the Pocket PC.
