i am after ideas or where i can get slides for making fridge base iwant to build one so as to not pay retail (for Smucks ) any ideas or sujestion as to alterntives or where can get runners would be apprecaited

Check out the bearing companies who have slides, and depending on what weight you want to put on this slide, the kitchen fitting people. Locally we have a store that just sells fittings to the kitchen and office fitting trade, and they have a wealth of all sorts of slides and fittings.
