I went out and brought 2 Rancho RS5000 for the front end after work on Friday then quickly installed them before work’s Christmas party that night.

Gave them their first workout today on the Mundaring Power line track “Long version” and I must say I am Happy with how they preformed; How they hold up I will see.

It was my first time doing the Track and I Thought it was quite a good trip, there was nothing Overly demanding but I think some of those descent’s would be a bit interesting after a good dump of rain LOL.

We came across a Hi-Lux and a s Shortie 40 Cruiser putting a new set of 33 or 35-inch Maxis Muddies to the test, they had just drowned it in a puddle when we came along and were busy on the motor with a Can of “Start Ya Basted” and letting the Cab Drain, They caught up with us later after we had stoped for a drink, so we just pulled in behind them and followed and watched the Shortie in action along with that legendary Toyota LSD .LOL. We overtook and lost them after they stoped to check the tyres.

We then caught up with a 80-Siries and a Prardo and tracked behind them for the remainder of the trip.

I think I need to slow down a bit when 4Wding judging by how easily we were keeping up with 4WD’s that were more capable than mine.

I would like to thank Member Jeff M for the advice on which shop to by the Shocks from, you saved me $60 and a 5-Day wait from where I was originally getting them.

Also I have now done a few of these power line Tracks around the place, and have come to the conclusion that I would never buy a EX-Western power Vehicle 3-years of those Track's, carrying loads and being thrashed and they would be bleep ed.
