Check out this 6wd they have built for the record attempt to the South Pole. They only have a day or so to go I think.

Note at the end of the video clip they don't show whether the truck makes it up the sand dune or not. I'd say not.

I used to have a 6wd 75 series "Arkana" with front and rear air lockers. It was limited off road. I reckon they would have been better putting tracks on the back wheels.

Cheers,
Brett

It's there, it's white, and it's in the South Pole, which is also white. If you look very closely, at the bottom of his text, you may find it......lol....

Sorry guys,

Feel like a bit of a D***head. Monday morning.

At work now and can't find the site I had at home but this one covers the same truck.

Will post the other one when I get home tonight.

I can see the rampover angle being an issue!

Using Interco Trxus tires be interesting to see how they go.

Did ya know that several years ago now, a new FJ45 was suitable modified to driven across Darwin Harbour under water. They got about 2/3's (3ks) of the way before it got hung-up.

My heads not working too well today is it? That's the price you pay for a big weekend in the bush.
