There are three "Pauls" in the club - Paul A, Paul Y and Paul S. I'm pretty sure that I'm after the Y-type who left his single-burner dual fuel with my wife to get it repaired :)

A non-event???? It was meant to be a 13-day (read: big one!!) trip as the longest of the year! You mean no-one's going? :( What a shame! What happened??

You know who to contact about the stove - why make it an issue on a public forum ??
You are commenting on issues that you know nothing about and you are pretending to be some sort of expert in our club activities after a very brief encounter .

I would suggest you keep your comments truthful and to the point - in regards to our club activities in future .

I made a quick and helpful statement to a guy I thought was going on your trip to remind one of your members that I have his stove. It was nothing more than a courteous gesture. If you wish to interpret that as "making an issue" out of it then go jump.

If we can manage to stop in for a 'belated' New Year's drink - we will .
We are meeting up with two other clubs during the Xmas break and our members from the ACT branch have a 'full on' recc'y trip planned from January 1st 2006 .
I have contacted Paul Y. about his stove - so he should phone you soon .
Baz just sent me a text message - he is heading for Sheepyard Flats in Victoria and will try to link up with us during the trip .
