Hi all, Im looking for some suggested camping spots in the
otways that has some good fresh water fishing for our work "All Aussie Adventure". Somewhere a little out of the way would be prefered. The trip is suggested to take place in about March/April.
Thanks GUTS

Hi GUTS
My family has been camping in the
Otways at Stephensons Fall just out of
Forrest.
This is located right on the Gellibrand River, there are some great fishing spots if you walk the river. The West Barwon
Dam is approximately 30 minutes from the
camp site with good fishing off the
dam wall.
This
camp has fresh water and drop
toilets. Should not be busy at this time of the year but may be a bit damp
Otways weather.
Regards Chris Schaper

There is a
campsite near lake Elizabeth. Not very big - but easy to access and a long drop
toilet.
From the
campsite, it is approx 2km walk to the lake. There may be a way to get closer by car, but it's a very nice walk...
