Hi,
I was just looking at German auto website and it seems that there is a replacement for Triton is ready. I will not comment on its shape!
Check it out yourself!!! Mitsubishi L200
Engine in it is 2.5 four cylinder turbo diesel with 100 kW (4000rpm) and 314 Nm (2000rpm), but this is European version.
Regards,
Lukasz

The word is Europe will retain the 2.5TD but the rest of the planet will be getting the DiD... They were talking about it on the L200
forum, a UK based site, and having a bit of a cry(understandibly) about not getting the new engine.
Time will tell I guess... I also like it, FWIW

I had exactly the same thought... Looking at other forums though, you don't see too many utes with bull bars in other parts of the world... Mostly just nudge bars...

The interior looks pretty swish!
However it needs a bullbar to sproose the front up, it just looks too rounded as is. Also needs the area between tray and cabin filled in, so you dont see that ridiculous curve, shoot the designer for doing that one...

It’s deformed, the wheels look out of proportion to the rest, they look too small. Interior is rather ghey, the exterior looks tacky, lots of plastic adds ons that appear that could be damaged easily, as you've probably gathered I'm not a big fan of this model.
You'd hope that the "Australian” version is better than this.
Cheers
