We have only travelled anticlockwise around Aust. as do most travellers & would appreciate some
feedback or local knowledge regarding headwinds whilst travelling:
East to west on the Nullabor during late March,
Esperance to
Perth via coast, early April and
Perth to
Broome via WA coast, leaving
Perth late April, arriving
Broome mid-June.
Thank you

Did that trip in 2005 and found that there was not an issue with headwinds. Only issue we found was an overnight stay at Balladonia where it was very dusty due to the dry area and wind. Take your time and enjoy the trip!

Obone not sure about the others but after having driven the Nullabor in both directions over a dozen times, the only thing constant about the wind on the Nullarbor is that it will be blowing. Direction and strength is the luck of the draw.
Kind Regards
Snowy.
