Yep, sure are.
A bit hard to find, but I saw one in the local camping store (Maitland NSW) about a month back.

Yes they are still available often from disposal type stores & they still taste like you're drinking the water from the dogs bowl. When we moved into the 21st century they had these things called drink coolers, hydration packs, Eskies & fridges. The days of cooling your water in a hession bag I thought are long gone ;-)

Crackles,
you're absolutely right. No matter whether water is cool or warm it is still wet. I remember the bees taking a liking to my hessian water bags once, and we couldn't get near them :-)))

Cheers

Yep they sure are. Don't fill them right up , as they have a nasty habit of detaching themselves onto the corregations.

Sure are. If your having trouble sourcing one give my mate a ring at Longreach Great Outdoors. He has both the cheap imported brand and the better quality version, the better one not only lasts longer, doesn't leak as much but tastes better (so I'm told). Probably plenty of places will have them but for this or other items of the bygone erea you'll get them at Longreach for sure as the farmers out there still demand some of this gear.
