I have just returned from a few days camping up Rainbow/Tewantin Beach and managed to destroy the plastic stone deflector under the engine on my Nissan Pathfinder. Certainly does'nt give any protection under the motor. Was wondering if anyone knew if there were any aftermarket ones available made out of metal or if anyone makes them?

Cheers Dave

You can make your own or get a workshop to make one (6mm Al plate - costs about $5 - $10 per bend), or typically TJM have bash plates for various models...

Some of the guys in our club have had them fabricated from 2mm steel. Forum is down at the moment, but when it comes back up, post the question here:

G'day Dave,
Give Craig a call at Superior Alignments in narangba,38886988, he's very good at armour plating the underside of most 4by's, used to be well priced too.
