G'day all,
I'll get to the point, won't say where I work or what I do but for all your information there will be a new series Shoelace coming out later this year.
Australia will be the first country in the world to get it. The Shoelace will be powered by a, wait for it, 5 INCH Vstitching twin Bow diesel colour with an intercooler end on each end, pushing something like 600nM mark in strength of tie.
The Schoolshoe shoelace will have the same strength, but only one bow and no intercooler endings.
Will keep ya updated the more I hear. all I've heard is that she bloody goes loose easy.......
Tie hard, or take it
home!

I cant say too much it will blow my cover.
please dont contact the dealers, or the national importer yet as they will deny all knowledge of the said laces.

Ahhhh yes, nothing like a REAL shoe lace.
I am tiring of those velcro wrap overs ( soft options ). People get them, and think they can take 'em anywhere, and end up losing one in the mud.
I prefer the Hi_Tops, army style, real grunt.

A mate of my aunties, friend's, cousin's, mechanic's, neighbour's, budgie Mathilda reckons these shoelaces are rubbish.
He said he blew an aglet simply walking slowly up a set of average stairs backwards. Shouldn't happen.........f#@king woeful IMHO. What if that happened on the CSR?
Another bloke at my work said his old boss told him about a bloke whose dentist did some fillings for a crayfisherman who reckons he had a bow-knot failure in his 2001 model at only 34,000 paces. Aparently the warp & weft of the material was only rated for european reef knots and the Australian one's were experiencing separation in knots tied between Wednesdays and Saturdays. Betts & Betts won't re-tie them now, but if you speak to Berryl at Garden City branch, she'll put in a good word for you.
Hey Truckie, here's a conundrum for you.
If I run my Cat D9 bulldozer on bio-diesel...................am I being 'environmentally friendly'????

C'mon Truckie, wake up to yourself and get with the programme. It's written right here on the internet so it must be 100% true.

06 model shoelaces.
A recall has been made on the 2006 model shoelace, all colours and all lengths are affected.
Two problems have been noted.
One pertains to the shoelaces becoming entangled if any attempt is made to untie them quickly. Affected shoelaces will create an undoable knot that will resist any attempts at release. Resolution of this problem requires tha user to be patient and slowly remove shoe with a shoehorn or tyre lever so the tension on the knot can be relieved and it can be undone.
The second issue pertains to the '06 models being subject to premature failure if they are tied too tightly. This invariably will occur when replacements are not readily available, or immediately prior to important events. This is an ongoing issue wil this, and all previous models of shoelace. Users are advised to use slip-on shoes for these occasions

And they've been proven to be incompatible with the heavy lug treads like I prefer on my weekend play-boots!!! Apparently, when trying to clamber up a half-decent slope with a ground anchor or winch cable in hand, the auto-locking device on these laces has been found to prematurely lose it's load and then you'll find ya-self in a helluva mess!!!

Apparently several class action legal suits in progress for just that reason.

I don't care how good they are.
After such problems with the last model going BANG!!! and the manufacturer not wanting to know about it, you'll not get me into one of those bleep box's.
As the saying goes, you can't beat cubic inches.
Hey truckster, I know where there's a brand new Hyland hitch if ur interested ??
Cheers,
muzz
