G'day all,
I'll get to the point, won't say where I work or what I do but for all your information there will be a new series Shoelace coming out later this year.
Australia will be the first country in the world to get it. The Shoelace will be powered by a, wait for it, 5 INCH Vstitching twin Bow diesel colour with an intercooler end on each end, pushing something like 600nM mark in strength of tie.
The Schoolshoe shoelace will have the same strength, but only one bow and no intercooler endings.
Will keep ya updated the more I hear. all I've heard is that she bloody goes loose easy.......
Tie hard, or take it
home!

It was hunted almost to extinction by homeless armadillo's during the stock-market crash in the early 90's. Such was the diligence of the armadillo's the crash almost slipped by unnoticed. It was at this time that the pronounced red marking on the knees of the RKHE genetically altered to a bluish hue, reminiscent of ealy 80's Mu Mu's (please notice the spelling). This enabled the RKHE's to assimilate into modern society and many of them bought TD Jackaroo's and hit the road.

Sometimes, when I wake up in the middle of the night...and can't get back to sleep, I think Craze is a RKHE. He has a Blue Jack, he has the behavioural characteristics, only Kir as his partner inhibits me totally believing this and its the one blocker to me gaining funding to study the RKHE and proving their assimilated existence

Well once when I was eating near Craze I noticed with trepidation, small reddish tinge around Ads knees and what seemed like a feather behind his left ear. It piqued my interest and I doubled my efforts at observation. Small things suddenly became clearer, the repetitive scratching around the ground for things, disconcertingly repetitive arm movement mimicking flapping of wings...and I heard him call Kir "honey".
I consulted the tome of feathered species. My collection of Ty-Nee-Tips bird cards from tea packets of the 60's and there, in the background of a pink eared thresher bird of lower Belgravia was a Blue Jackaroo, with Cooper tyres.
And they say you shouldnt throw anything out.
Continue dissertation? Y/N?

The red kneed honey eater is an urban dweller who migrates from warmer climes to cooler climes in order to develop their sense of cameraderie and friendly support. I once heard of one who took upon themselves to support a whole band of alpine adventurers with all manner of odd and interesting things. They are known to confuse left and right from time to time, an appealing penchant not lost on fellow travellers.
Their plumage varies from sub-species to sub-species but is characterised by a big smile and a propensity to cuddle. One even cuddles several strangers and told them the cuddle was from "Geoff". An ancient reference to someone who had gone before.
They are not common and if you happen upon one, be sure to befriend them for they will certainly enrich ones life.

Ahhhh yes, nothing like a REAL shoe lace.
I am tiring of those velcro wrap overs ( soft options ). People get them, and think they can take 'em anywhere, and end up losing one in the mud.
I prefer the Hi_Tops, army style, real grunt.

A mate of my aunties, friend's, cousin's, mechanic's, neighbour's, budgie Mathilda reckons these shoelaces are rubbish.
He said he blew an aglet simply walking slowly up a set of average stairs backwards. Shouldn't happen.........f#@king woeful IMHO. What if that happened on the CSR?
Another bloke at my work said his old boss told him about a bloke whose dentist did some fillings for a crayfisherman who reckons he had a bow-knot failure in his 2001 model at only 34,000 paces. Aparently the warp & weft of the material was only rated for european reef knots and the Australian one's were experiencing separation in knots tied between Wednesdays and Saturdays. Betts & Betts won't re-tie them now, but if you speak to Berryl at Garden City branch, she'll put in a good word for you.
Hey Truckie, here's a conundrum for you.

06 model shoelaces.
A recall has been made on the 2006 model shoelace, all colours and all lengths are affected.
Two problems have been noted.
One pertains to the shoelaces becoming entangled if any attempt is made to untie them quickly. Affected shoelaces will create an undoable knot that will resist any attempts at release. Resolution of this problem requires tha user to be patient and slowly remove shoe with a shoehorn or tyre lever so the tension on the knot can be relieved and it can be undone.
The second issue pertains to the '06 models being subject to premature failure if they are tied too tightly. This invariably will occur when replacements are not readily available, or immediately prior to important events. This is an ongoing issue wil this, and all previous models of shoelace. Users are advised to use slip-on shoes for these occasions

And they've been proven to be incompatible with the heavy lug treads like I prefer on my weekend play-boots!!! Apparently, when trying to clamber up a half-decent slope with a ground anchor or winch cable in hand, the auto-locking device on these laces has been found to prematurely lose it's load and then you'll find ya-self in a helluva mess!!!

I don't care how good they are.
After such problems with the last model going BANG!!! and the manufacturer not wanting to know about it, you'll not get me into one of those bleep box's.
As the saying goes, you can't beat cubic inches.
Hey truckster, I know where there's a brand new Hyland hitch if ur interested ??

Mr T (I will avoid using your real name to preserve secrecy)
I overheard in the pub, so it must be true, that these laces are being trialled in the Paris to Dakar rally.
Are u able to confirm or deny this as I understand that these laces are performing exceptionally well.
(do you know if they are 'standard' off the shelf laces or have they been re-worked for this event?)
Regards

Sir D,
I believe that I saw a pair (may have been '05 version, couldn't be 100% certain) just the other night.
Was on ABC, so u can understand that no real advertising was possible, and they were worn by a driver wearing 'sandshoes'
I'm not sure that they were the real thing because they seemed to have a small piece of velcrow attached to the ends, but that may have been a safety issue.
I'm sure that the 'T' bloke ( if that is his real name) could shed some light on this matter.
BTW you don't suppose he is making all this up and having a joke at our expense do you?
Regards
M

Mr F,
I think that is just sour grapes, I had a Yak to a friend in U.M. this afternoon and he says that the laces you speak of are only cheap imitations, made elsewhere.
....and stop press, I have just heard that Richard Smiff is about to corner the market on these as a....wait for it......a true Aussie invention, Yeh!!!

These are the single finest Shoelaces I have seen . . .
Soon available from Flappa Enterprises ; )
