My daughter went down town over the weekend, and saw a Landcruiser with the name "Nissan Recovery Vehicle". To be that cheeky, it must belong to someone here!

Wish I had seen the earlier responses MotherH. I know Truckster had an "Attach a buggered Toyota here" sticker on the back of his Nissan. Really appropriate spot and sticker.

I wondered what happened to my response. It didn't last long before it was deleted.
Needless to say, it wasn't complimentrary to Nissans. LOL

Nah you guys, the posts were being counted and lost by the system before David got to correcting it about 0800 system time. A few of
mine were lost too but MotherH you would have got the email out from the system. I tried to phone him about the losses and emailed about it.
Mr Lexic, I know you would have loved to tow a Nissan just for a photo even if it was cooked. ahhahh

Yes, Mr Lexic NEVER misses an opportunity......Last March at Yankalilla, he made up a crappy cardboard
sign and hung it over my UHF aerial with an equally crappy bit of string......it read " NEW MECHANIC WANTED". The hide of the mongrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I later found out that the crappy bit of cardboard was actually the inner lining off his rear door on the 50 series cruiser......and the string wasn't actually string at all.....it was the rubber-band from under his bonnet ;-))
Cheers
Roachie

Roachie, I guess some of his posts, a bit like his second hand elastic is best deleted quickly. Fancy having to put the
sign on y o u r truck, to attract the attention. I just know it would have had his mobile number to get the mechanics name. LOL

Seems to be the odd 100 series in the Paris-Dakar but haven't spotted a patrol yet.
Must be a reason for that.
Hills to steep?
Sand too soft?
Speed to high?
Drivers to frightened???????????????????

If it wasn't for a Nissan, Davoe might have been lost out on the tide last weekend.

John, ALL of the above. I notice Roachie not game to lift his head on this one. Maybe Pesty is pulling him out of the
sand dunes.

Hi Gramps - as every post that has the word c a t seems to get taken off the
forum, i found i couldn't get that
pic to show in the body of a post - but at least it is there for all to see.

goodday m/h
went over to mates place sat and got his remote
camera working bloody beautiful 2 problems 1 had it looking at tin shed with sun on it gave a white appearance on screen and 2 it needs a full 9volts the couple of batteries he was using must have been down a bit put a good battery on (had
camera removed from van)went behind van so still had it blocking the signal held the
camera over the fence looking at bushland (no not neighbours daughter in bikini) and reckon 300m+ quite clear on screen in colour
so it has turned out to be a good thing we are going to wire it to a permanent 12v supply and reduce voltage to 9.5 volts
steve
ps bought it from brash imports and said bloke was easy to deal with

Hi Steve - ours is not perfect yet - have had very little time to work on it (Jim, that is). Look at my reply to post 29572 on the Lilliput if you would like to see our progress and problems. Glad you got your mate's one going
well. We really don't know if the signal is having a hard time getting through the caravan (
camera is placed on top of the rear window externally).
