excessive accelerator pedal vibration 2000 Patrol

Is there anyone experiencing accelerator pedal vibration in a 4.2 diesel Patrol ute.
I have tried moving the cable in and out of the brackets but didn't make much difference. what if I replace the two rubbers that are up close to the pump, would this help otherwise is there a good mechanic in
Perth area that would have some idea without the bill blowing out for could be's. Thanks for any help

No cruise control. Would the harmonic balancer cause the vibration.
