G'day all,
Can anyone tell me the difference in wheel offset between an IFS and solid axle cruiser.
Regards
Dazz.

I kind of think that they may be the same as both vehicles share the same rear set up. May stand to be corrected 'though.

The IFS is a deeler offset, by 40mm i think. They will only fit on IFS cruisers. The older rigid front rim will fit both, but stick out alot.

Thanks for the replies. I am actually looking at using these rims for a camper trailer but if they do have 40mm offset they will probably be unsuitable for that as
well. Must be why IFS rims can be bought so cheap.

I'd guess that the difference in backspacing is about 40-50mm, but haven't actually measured them.
After getting two tyres slashed on my 79series once, I tried a 100series IFS rim on both front and rear, and it couldn't turn because it was hitting stuff. The 105series RFA was a perfect fit on the 79series.
Cheers
Phil
