Hi
I need help in deciding what is the best satellite television system to purchase. They all seem to say they are the best, the system would be used in an off road caravan. Any help in this would be much appreciated.
Regards Hendo

With pricing, all seem to play on the mystery surrounding Sat TV. Once you've had one and are familar there is no mystery.
You need a dish, the cable, the box and someone to show you the way. Cheapest package is about $500 on the net, but if you know what's needed it can be as little as $350 using ebay etc.
You really only need a 60cm dish for most
places, just steer clear of the Brolga system I think it is.

Hendo
I have had an Emtech 200 for two years now, use at
home and extensively in caravan, very reliable easy to set up etc.
I think they have now changed names to Homecast brand. See Kristal Electronics
in Queensland somewhere( on the net), Got
mine from them 2 days delivery to
Perth wa.!
I also use jaycar stand ( tried it on A frame but movement in van and lost picture)
65 cm dish has been ok for us-
esperance to kimberlies. sat meters are a bit poor quality but work ok.
hope this helps.
