Evening all...
Just a quick question regarding wheels....

Doing a run out around Alice ,Simpson, Birdsville etc later in the year (see post 148723), In the party there is a 2005 model Pathfinder. Now the question.. Will a wheel off a Patrol ( GQ 15inch)fit onto a Pathfinder (both vehicles arent in the same state , so no I cant try them). And if not , can anyone suggest where to buy a cheap second spare from. Since its only a second spare for the trip it may not actualy get used and once home will simply sit in the back of the shed for several years waiting for the next big trip so not a lot of dollars want to be spent on it.
We're located in the ACT but down towards Nowra wont be a problem.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I would guess not, the backspacing would be different to start with, the center hole could also be an issue, as well as the stud pattern.

Possibly one off a Navara ?

Why not just take a tyre carcass and fit it if needed?

Hi Boo
I have a GQ rim in the shed if you want i can measure it you will only need the offset and the ctr hole dia.
I have 2004 navara rims on my 95 model pathfinder could also compare them if you want
Without looking i belive you may have trouble with the offset - the tyre may rub on the suspension
The pathy rim will go on the GQ ok
which car is yours ?

Boo
got to compare the wheels today
Gq rim - 31x10.5x15 tyre steel aftermarket 7 in rim
Pathy rim 255x70x16 tyres Alloy navara rim 2004 model
Measured from mounting face to inside of tyre ,the pathy rim is almost 10 mm deeper the centre hole in GQ rim is larger than pathy so all should be ok unless you are running bigger tyres. I only carry an extra case and tube to cut down on weight
Hope this helps
