Hi to all, we are planning a trip along the Connie Sue track to Warburton, then on to Port Headland in June 06. Has anyone any information if petrol is available at Neale Junction. I believe a new station was being built there. Many thanks

No fuel at Neale Junction but the new Road House is at Tjilka I think it's called. It is about 180k's West of the SA/WA Border. I think it is the "opal" fuel.

I think Des is referring to Ilkulka (yes there is OPAL) on the Ann Beadell Rd.
Definately no fuel at Neale Junction- nuthin there although the Golden Arches might be up soon.
Where are you entering the Connie Sue?? via Rawlinna, Laverton or The Ann Beadell??
There is fuel at Tjukayirla on the Great Central Road.

Thanks both Des and Signman, we were planning on entering the Connie Sue from Cocklebiddy and heading north thru Rawlinna. We have a 100 series petrol Landcruiser and she is a thirsty one. We are trying to work out how many jerries we may now have to take to get us thru to Warburton.
