Has anyone fitted a Denco Fuel filter adaptor to their Z30 turbo diesel Navara or for that matter Patrol. I went to buy one today direct from Denco and they told me they do not recommend one being fitted to this motor. Anyone have one fitted having problems?

Out of interest if they dont recommend them did they tell you why?
Maybe, if your worried about water you could fit a simple clear water trap before the filter with a tap on the bottom so you can drain it if water appears (before it reaches the main filter assembly) any good diesel service could point you in the right direction

They don't recommend them for that motor because of the electric fuel pump

Was told by Nissan mechanics, plus salesperson, if fitting aftermarket fuel filters, is ok to place a seperate unit BEFORE the origional but NOT to replace the origional. Good advice I think, because you should have the best of both worlds.
