Has anyone done an upgrade to their headlight globes? eg +30's or blue/white globes to put behind plastic lenses (12v 60/55 watt only). Are they worth spending the extra money on to upgrade? Cheers

I did upgrade to my 99 jackaroo. Improvement was well worth the cost, as originals fairly average. I used Narva H4s.

I put Narva 90/130watt globes in my 98 jackaroo with a pirana superloom which improved vision by 100% but after 12 months the low and high beam fused together one night and I was left without low beam in the middle of nowhere, so it's back to the 55/60watt originals.

Yep,
Well worth it, I put a set of Bosch ones + relays, excellent!

Be careful that the wiring on your vehicle can handle the extra load, some are so thin that they actually melt the insulation on the wire - catastrophe!
