storage space compromise

Just a lament.
The old story...9 months ago we upgraded from a SWB to a High roof LWB GQ for more room.
Initial thoughts, beauty i can sleep in the back...use it to carry large items etc
Then it happened....
In goes the cargo barrier, on go the toolboxes on the roof rack, in goes the spare battery, stereo/amp/sub all neatly between rear seats and cargo barrier.
Custom storage lockers over rear wheel arches.
The dog owns the back
seat.
Back to no space to carry big stuff...and i cant sleep in it, and i cant get it into any undercover carparks.
why does everyting have to be a compromise :-)

hahahaha go bush more often and reduce the need to use undercover carparks :)))
