Further on the Fraser Cleanup

Further to my post 30229, I received terrific sentiments from a lot of people, and I thank them all for it..... but we were a family of four amongst nearly 200 others who were there for the same reason.... so I thank THEM for being there as well, as I know everyone on ExplorOz does.

4WD QLD deserves a big round of applause for putting the weekend together as well, and TOYOTA who sponsor it get a big round of applause from this staunch Nissan man. I PROUDLY wore a Toyota cap that everyone was given out for the cleanup, and quite frankly would wear just about any company's logo as long as that company was sponsoring such a fine event.

Thanks to everyone involved!

Brian, a big thank you to all who participated. I've owned Tototas for ...well too long anyway ...but I'm not one eyed. Nissans, Suzukis etc are all fine machines. Rivalry is all very well, but at the end of the day they are just machines. It's the people that make the 4wd recreation game what it is, not the name on the grill.
Once again a big thank you on behalf of the responsible travelling public.

Thank you for your words Footloose. You're right, they're all 4by's aren't they?? I love a bit of banter about the various brands and loive getting a "crack" in, but when it gets too serious, I walk away.....

I would wear a Tata hat if they sponsored the cleanup!!!!! ;-))
