There's plenty to see - just depends on what he likes and how much time he has.

Remember that he'll be travelling the better part of 3000k's at the absolutely hottest part of the year.

Here's a bit of a menu:

* Vic High Country perhaps
* Would usually say Grampians, but the impact of the fires is unknown
* Coonawarra and Great Ocean Road? incl Lorne and forests
* River Murray - perhaps Mannum area
* SA Wine Regions - Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Clare, Barossa
* Kangaroo Island - probably better in March/April when the winds are less
* Flinders Ranges - lower and upper
* Coober Pedy
* Rainbow Valley
* Uluru et al
* Kings Canyon

and the rest of the NT ;-)

they should also be able to help with maps etc etc for all states
