Hi All,
Continuing with the planning for Fraser Island, at this stage looking to be there 13 to 20 of March.
Whilc looking at passess and permits, I fould this
information about an alternative to the QPWS passess which happen to be half the price....

Careful !!
I looked into this last year. The website you found hasn't been updated since 2004. The visitor center for issue of passes doesn't exist (I was last up there late 05). As good as it sounds, I think it has all fallen through. I couldn't find anything about it at
Rainbow beach or on the Island.
Of course, if anyone can prove me wrong about this, I'm happy to be corrected!
