I'm going on a holiday to
Cape York in June. I am hoping someone knows of a cheap 4WD hire place in
Cairns as we will need an extra vehicle from
Cairns to the tip and back.
Thanks, Corey.

Rob has a 100 Series he would hire out to anyone who would take it - as long as they did not bring it back .

Sugerland Car Rentals. They used to have a old 80 Series which I hired once, but may have something newer now.

Corey about the only place that will actually let you take a 4wd to the cape and not break your insurance agreement is www.4wdhire.com.au.
All the best
Eric

yep...I rented from 4wdhire about a year ago. It's not cheap for a run to the Cape. But the people at 4wdhire were top knotch as
well as the troppies. the staff went through alot of trouble to rig my rental with extra gear to support my "not so normal" route to the Tip. I recomend highly.
