Last week while travelling in the south east of SA we came across a 120 Prado that had been converted into a dual cab. We were in Penola at the time and the owner was nowhere to been seen( I hung around as long as the missus would let me. ) Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this conversion? Would this be a one of ? Any idea's on cost and engineering involved? It had SA plates, is there a SA based company doing such conversions?
Not that I want to carve up our Prado..I'm just curious...

A builder has one in SE Qld. It was his family car, apparently he went to trade it in and they would give him nothing for it so he converted it to a dual cab wih the chassis extension and made it his work truck. He then went and bought a new family car.

I think it was done at creative conversions in Brisbane. http://www.creativeconversions.com.au/
