BMW drivers are shown to be "not too smart"

OK this is definitely a "jab" at the BMW X5 crew (et al)....

The other night I was lazing in front of the TV! 8).......(yes! I managed to prise myself off the PC!!)

An ad came on to espouse the frugality of the X5 diesel!! :/
(no doubt a very capable vehicle...etc!)

But the ad shows a chap, a very BMW X5 stereotype type(??), attempting to fill the tank.
Nothing unusual in that.....except he forgot to prop the fuel lid cover...and of course I assumed that the fuel tank cap was still firmly screwed in too :)
(he tries to place the fuel filler nozzle, squarely onto the fuel filler flap ?????)

Well, the ad attempts some very unfunny humor! But I did get a laugh when I noticed this YUPPIE attempting to fill the X5 (with the tank flap closed!!) and the vehicle drives off (as if to imply.."no thanks!)

But of course the laugh is on the BMW owner. And/or BMW for not educating the owners of their vehicles, the basics of owner maintenance :))

I dunno? I suppose I'm easily amused!
