Anyone heading north to Cape york this winter?

As I mentioned in my previous post, we are travelling with 4 kids. So far we really haven't met very many (only one?) families travelling in a similar manner. But I presume that with the great winter exodus north, there must be some families taking their kids....we are hoping to team up with, or ramdomly tandem, with some families up the Queensland coast.

We don't expect to get to Brisbane til mid-April, as we are currently pottering around the south coast of NSW, then into VIC, then Snowy Mountains, Canberra etc, and then near Lismore where my father lives, before we get going northwards to the Cape.

Of course, if anyone else is travellig with a family round the NSW south coast I'd love to hear from you!

We won't be travelling with family, but will be leading a tour on the Cape in May. We will definitely keep an eye out for you. The kids will no doubt have a ball, and if you meet up with other similar families I am sure it will be all the better. No families on our tour yet, but could be by then.

We are going up there in early May. Wanted to go earlier but other half cannot go in April. We are going with about 10 vehicles and most have kids. We all live in NQ so we don't have far to go.
