I am looking for Turbo timer & Alarm that would start up vehicle remotely while walking up to it (For a Land Cruiser). Any advice of what make & type to look out for? Cheers

Why would you want an alarm that starts the car as you walk up to it?
just askin thats all.
Turbo Timer,
check with your insurance company first, some wont allow them .

What if your car is a manual one and is in gear. It would look pretty silly bobbing around the car park with the handbrake on and nobody in it :)

Mine is an auto 80 series TLC. What make of alarm is the most reliable for a 4WD with all the elements likely to be thrown at it?

Yes you can get alarm systems that can be set up to start the car, only availble for an automatic car for obvious reasons!! I do think that they are illegal in most states though, going by memory. Not exactly sure why but a good installer would be able to give you a run down!
There are some top alarm systems out there that do incorporate a turbo timer in the system, negating the need for intergrating the alarm and T/timer together. Just a hint, some of the systems are also WATER PROOF!!!!! Ie the module and key remotes, could be embarrasing in a water crossing to get the system wet and shut down, ignition, fuel, doorlocks....could be very bad!
