We travelled just West of Lake Grace the day prior to the flood. There are some great photos here.

hi there, i am from lake grace and yes there is alot of water still around can you believe the town had another 35 ml last saturday. the road heading west out of town is only just been open, the railway line needs major repairs. But the cost to us farmers is the worst, extra spraying on paddocks, roads on the farm washed away, fencing has to be replaced, but hey that is farming!!Will not complain though as we have a bad reputation as being whingers!!ha
cheers from l/g

I was reeeeeeely cut that they got the decent rains from that cyclone and we got Jack. we have not had decent rains for about 7-8 years and Rowles lagoon has been dry for around 2 years. Waterskiing on the lakes has become a distant memory. there is about 2 months left in the cyclone season so hearse hoping........... again
