This is really directed to EO Dave... Hi,
Since you're giving clues, wouldn't it be a good idea have a list of clues displayed all the time? Unless one is continually watching the 'last five' entries, we wouldn't have a clue what the clues are!
Only one I have seen is: it is not in QLD.
Does anyone have a list of clues so far?

I saw one yesterday saying "Clue...it's not a tunnel"
I was putting faith in David's response to Wolfie in post 30889 giving the hint :
"XXXXXXXX Tunnel in Qld"
The 2 clues you and I have seen in the "last 5 guesses" could have been posted by anyone and are contrary to David's so who do you believe?
I suggest David needs to find a clearer way for clues to be given.

feedback' to Dave & suggest a list.
...so it's not a tunnel & it's not in QLD! any other clues out there?

OK, so if it isnt a tunnel and its not in Qld, lets put our heads together here.
I dont care anymore if I dont win this one, but I do want to know what it is and where, so in the interest of solving it, who has any idea what it could be.
Is it a
cave and if so, it looks like it has had some form of reinforcement around
the entrance area.
Is it a old WW2
bunker of some kind. If so, that would explain the reinforcing around
the entrance.
Is it
the entrance to the Bat
Cave or maybe the Skull
Cave.
My guess is an old WW@
bunker of some kind.
Come on guys, lets work together and maybe with some shared ideas, someone will twig to what and whwere, and good on em I say.

Where have I ever said it is not a tunnel and not in QLD. I will work on a clue system however what I wrote originally about the clue is spot on even the number of X's I put is was the exact number of letters. So again the ONLY CLUE given by me is:
XXXXXXXX Tunnel in QLD
The number of X's is the number of letters.
Where are these clues saying not a tunnel and not in QLD?

Yep, among the last 5 guesses. Have no idea where in the long list but among other times, #146 & 241 I remember checking out.
Didn't think it was an official statement.

Hi David,
If you put official clues in amongst the guesses, maybe you could colour them different to the guesses. Just a thought.
I still love this comp and like others, am going quite mad over this (madder than I already am hehehe).

I never put clues in as guesses. I am think of putting them on the page but they would be mentioned differently.
So in a nutshell - NEVER will a clue be a guess.
ALso due to issues on the last comp I have added a statement about case. A place is a proper noun - so unless you enter the correct case for a proper noun then you have not guessed the name of the place. Picky I know but if these things all go off to quick I will run out of prizes.
Good lunk with the current pick. The next few after this one are a little easier. I must add some more images to the system today.

The case thing may explain it, I was sure I put in a guess for
Dularcha Tunnel earlier in the comp.....probably spelt it wrong or didn't use caps perhaps. Either that or I wrote it on my scribble pad and never lodged it as a guess ......old age perhaps.
