My Landcruiser is a HJZ75 Trayback (1996)and yesterday I had no lights on the dash and no ignition at all. It looked like a flat Battery. After checking the battery was full so I did the usual...fuses all good ignition lock good still no 12 volt.
When I followed the cables I found a little black box( 3hrs later) maybe 1 inch long with a white and a black cabel going in and white and blue coming out going to the fuseblock. That box was on the battery side in the motorcompartment hanging of some cable. All it has inside is two bolt and nut connections which had rust inside. Some WD40 and a wire brush and it all came to light again. I'm still wondering what that littel black thing is for and I thought somebody in here will know for sure.
Thanks

Reiner

It is just a terminal block to join the fusible links to the loom
