Well it was a good day, met up with mate who is first aider type dude, and went to the first aid sales joint and saved $120 on a soft pack! SWEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet....

Although some dude came back to his GU to a smashed window and stuff stolen - ONCE AGAIN at a 4wd show, and another lost a pr of 240 Lforce lights.. thats all I have heard so far.

Why anyone drives a 4b to these smorgasboard for scum shows is crazy!

Anyway met up with several EO people again... Crazie was workin crazy flat out. Poor didums.

Lyn, told you - NO to the bikini, it was going to be cold.

Bruce, good you were able to save $120 but mate if you didn't have to spend it anyway because you already had one. How much did you spend to save it?

So another typical Wandin weekend eh? Lyn in a bikini, Crazie working, GU window smashed and Lightforce lights stolen. Why could they not pinch Hellas or Narvas? Only the good ones.

Nick R had his GU wagon window smashed a few weeks back in a city car park. Pinched my Meridian Platinum GPS, mount, cables to power and computer and the SD card. If you have bought one cheap in the last month, it could be hot. Had Velcro under it when last seen........

Went to the EO meeting. Saw a bloke standing there. Asked him if he was by chance "Truckster". Poor fellow nearly swallowed his tongue and had a fit. Told me truckster had left the building (read tent) LOL

Me in a bikini !!!...we wanted people to come and look at the cars not walk away in horror....haha

Seriously, it was quite a successful day for Al, lots of people stopping, looking, taking details down, and many were relieved that there was someone in Victoria doing such great conversions. Here's hoping he gets some orders as a result.

Was great to meet up with a few people and to meet Peter [aka PK Eildon] and his mate Noel.

Saturday night out at the grounds with Crazie and Bonz was great, being able to have a sneak preview as to what was on display there, and also to enjoy the great meal the Landrover Club put on for exhibitors.

Big thanks to Bonz who was working the crowd for us.

cheers

Lyn

Bonz working the crowd eh, love to see that! So his day job is a spruiker then? That fits...

Was interested Bonz went there in the Ford and left the dear Mrs Bonz to go to the Ford Event in Geelong in the Nissan 4by. Did Bonz really expect his window would be broken and the lights pinched?

I thought it was the advance guard of Bonz when I saw the EO sticker in Colac outside the takeaway shop, but no.

You may be interested to know that an offender was in fact apprehended breaking into a truck at the show.
To all accounts he was slightly the worst for wear when the police finally came and took him away (I was on the gate).
Glad you enjoyed the show,a great effort by a club towards the 4wd movement.

It was good to see a few familiar faces again - I've been a little quiet on the social front so far this year. And we brought the rain with us again, at least to start with on the day (so Caroline keeps telling me). lol. The show was entertaining enough, got some LF lens covers after the last ones were flogged (not at the show tho), worked out that I can't get anything except the smallest fridge into the CT unfortunately, and also spent 1/2 hr waiting for some idiots to get sued by trying to convince a little girl to jump off the very top of a tower (it was a "fun" ride, jump off a ledge with a harness attached, except they let her right up above the ledge onto a beam and wouldn't let her down except by jumping, she was scared to death).

They did them both themselves, for themselves, spoke to both guys, seemed a waste to take a LR down from the hoist to cut off the back, just to place it back up on the hoist where its used to being....
