Hi all, can anyone help me I'm trying unsuccessfully to join the Overlander 4WD site, and everytime I try to register it knocks me back, what happens you press the register tab , then fill in the boxes, name, user name , email address etc, then there's another set of questions to answer underneath the set you've just filled in , starts with enter your icq number then web address etc, problem is I've no idea what your supposed to put in those boxes, I've contacted them 3 times and the only respone I've got is "WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT" I'm a member of 3 other 4WD sites and never had so much grieve as this one, it'd be great if there was someone there who actually cared enough to help , sadly it seems there's not,

I think all the ones you've mentioned are optional so just leave them blank.

no mate I tried that and it still kept saying you have entered incorrectly
what do you do when thier own rep just thinks your obviously an idot ???

The answer is simple just keep using this one.

Take care and good luck, at least I know that it is not only us that seems to have periodic registration issues however, we always answer your enquiries and help with any issues you may have on the entire system.

I find it frustrating - there does not appear to be enough people using it and I cannot come to terms with the way the posts and answers are set out .

erm, it's really not that difficult, is there a chance that you have actually successfully joined at some time and now you are trying to register the same email or name again...

Try again with a new user name, a different email if you have one...

failing that, send an email with the exact error message and you migt have some joy.

This sort of thing usually happens if you haven't paid your tax or have outstanding traffic fines.

Nothing criminal about it, just and 'administrative thing'

Have you checked to make sure that SWMBO hasn't secretly had you black banned to stop you 'wasting' HER time on another 4WD thingy.

It is something to do with the way your work i net is set up. I have problems registering for stuff at certain work places. try at home using your Hotmail. Flappa is incorrect saying they cant be used

Why go elsewhere? I spend most nights trying to keep up with the stuf on this one site....If I tried to keep up with two or more I'd end up looking like I did when I was 18 (all worn out most mondays) Hahahaha.

Outerlimits4x4, Australian4x4, Downunder4x4, AULRO, Toyotasurf and all the other vehicle specific sites.

Whenever I am on a forum it is not because I have spare time but because I don't want to be doing what I know I should be doing. Probably a common cause.
