OLLY
Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I was just wondering whether a WA parks pass covers entry and camping permits for most of the Kimberly's gorges or do we just pay the fee's when we arrive. We intend on travelling the Tanami and the GRR in August - Sept this year.

Hi.
The passes only cover entry to parks not camping. Camping has to be paid on site. Cheers Bungarra

Do you know if any of the gorges along the GRR and Mitchel Falls area incure a fee other than the camping fees that you already spoke about as I'm trying to decide if we need the WA Parks Pass
cheers OLLY

A parks pass is of little value in the kimberly - The only park you need to pay to enter is bungle bungles. I went to buy one and was told not to bother at the Calm office .As has been said camping is PAYG extra anyway

Hi Olly - noticed your post re GRR.
We intend making that trip next year. Coongi Lakes this year.
On the subject of
Lake Awoonga, would you mind emailing me.
klladams@optusnet.com.au
I have a few questions about access to the lake from 4wd tracks.
(eg - can you get to any spots at night with a 4WD when we cannot use the hire boat.)
Thanks..............Keith
