When going up a steep incline and you don't quite make the top is this the correct procedure to come back down and have another go?

Absolutely worth the wait....even on dial-up.
Would take pretty big kahuna's in ice undies to do that again.
Cheers Trevor.

Hi patrolman pat, how are you going?
Barb and I have moved to sunny
Goulburn. How's life down your way?
Cheers Pud.
PS Want to buy a patrol. Bargain price. Are you having any trouble with your 3 litre? If not recommend trading her in. Wouldn't want anyone to go through what we are.

Very sorry to hear of you dilemmas with the 3 litre - been there, done that, too! New 4.2 cab chassis on order for me and bye-bye 3l (a very early one - Feb 2000 plate).

OK same here, but it can't locate the file. I suspect I have a DNS settings problem becasue some sites need a refresh to load, and I get a "can't find server" response. Happened since I did an OSX upgrade. Bigpond are hopless, they haven;t responded to my query

That is the apotheosis/mother of all REVERSE self recoveries.
I shall be implementing same when out in the JEEP or TROOPY next, just to put those Nissan Pussies - Bonz, Roachie, Brew & Truckster - to shame and back in their caves with a decent '4WD fat bottom lip'.
(ROFLMAO)

Thank you Wombat. ( See you can do something other than 'chomping, bonking & departing')

I don't know if my wife will let me out to play this weekend knowing that I've seen that; espcially if the kids are in the back!
In response to the comments about bravado, skill, and coolness I would suggest that there was an element of luck involved?

I beg to differ....
Certainly lucky that the engine was still running, but you can see from the rooster-tails that he had the power on the instant those wheels made contact again with the dune... That took a cool head, quick thinking, reflexes, and sheer skill, IMO...
I'll give London to a brick that if he hadn't "sunk the boot in" when he did (& powered down the slope), that thing would have barrel-rolled straight back down that dune...
10 outa 10 for skill in my book!!

Yep, in reflection, I think you're right, but.....as you said," certainly lucky that the engine was still running....." and that the 'roll' rolled the way it did unless you assume he calculated the roll.
