Brian, on the top tool bar of IE you will find an icon that has a clock face and an arrow on it, click this and you will find your internet history.

Brian,
John
The history is found under Tools, Internet options.
You will then see a section on history.

Thankyou for replies tried suggestion only shows todays sites. Is this because in tools---options----history the days to keep is set to zero??? Can the computer be set up to keep/retain/print out an actual history of sites visited in a specific time frame??
I can reset the number of days to keep the info but as far as i know this can be changed by the next operator...Thankyou

What you need to do is open windows explorer and navigate to the C:\Documents and Settings\ and then the username that the computer logs in as, you should have cookies folder have a snoop in there. Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files here you will see all pages and temp files stored...a great tool for snooping around in. I have caught people before by looking in there.
