2WD Diff into a 4wd dual cab????

Hi I have a nissan 720 dual cab 4wd, can anyone tell me if a 2wd diff can go into a 4wd. Might have to change the yoke or somethin????

Until about 5 years ago, I had a 720 King Cab for about 12 years and had a full set of genuine workshop manuals ( dont now ) but can remember the diffs were totally different. I think the 2wd were not limited slip. Try some 4x4 wreckers for one, as I saw a lot of them with tail shafts removed - hot item - but diifs still there. You will probably get it cheap as 720s were not a sort after product. PS I have a brand new bumper for one if you live near
Newcastle otherwise its going in the bin.

And you would know, the tail shaft was in and out of that car so many times!

Check that the ratios are the same, I think that the 2wd will be different as they run smaller wheels, you cant have a different ratio front to rear!
