I've been unable to confirm this with DOTARS as of today, but have been told by a consultant at a
suspension component manufacturer, that there is a current draft of ADR changes that will limit the increase in ride height from manufacturers specification to 50mm.
Is anyone familiar with this and how it gets translated into roadworthiness by the states?
Ciao for now
Andrew.

I think the new Natonal laws are going to be 100 or 150mm Maximum overall increases that can be made up from Tyres (I think tyres are limited to 50mm taller than standard ,
suspension and body lift, no exceptions so you can’t be engineered for anything over this.
There are people on hear who a fall bottle on this stuff, I sure they will fill you in on the finer details of it all.

Quite a few submissions were put into the RTA by 9 December 2005 by various NSW groups. I understand they were sent to
Canberra. Word there will be some sort of response in March 2006. Not sure about other states.
