If u win a prize in the competition you should be exempt from winning again for a month or so?????? Maybe I am old school coz i wouldn't even enter after I won one.

Damn fine detective work though, damn fine..... Obviously very well travelled.

Thing is, I reckon David's all fair cleaned out of prizes. Have you seen the prize pool now? I'll wait 'till it jackpots, then throw my hat into the ring.

Gillian, if your reading this, you can email me with some clues at lon.......................

Yeah I put this prise in a little low - I though it would get answered quicker - I will increase theprises to make it more interesting - give me 5 mins and I will make the adjustments.

Brew,

I was thinking that but didn't want to upset the 2 times carry over champ.

Rules are pretty simple - first correct answer wins. She had three correct answers in first. Sounds like a winner to me. Making rules to accommodate losers has never been my go. Congratulations, Gillian.

Winners can laugh and the losers can please themselves. She's done well.

I'm glad that many of Australia's sporting heroes aren't old school, or my money spent to see the Commonwealth Games has gone down the gurgler ... : )

I actually made the suggestion to David off the forum that they run it along the lines of the ABC radio quiz - once you win you go into the "win bin" for 4 weeks before you can come back on again.

I was also a bit miffed that I had tried Dularcha Tunnel and Dularcha and it was incorrect - because the answer was Dularcha Railway Tunnel.

Hi Brew.

I was a bit peeved because I knew there was another similar tunnel in the area and couldn't remember the name so I spent ages trying to work it out.

I'd been right all along, as had others apparently but before or after me I don't know.

Apparently I said dularcha at first and David later stipulated that it had to have a capital as the first letter. But DULARCHA would have been equally correct and still would have been wrong.

Maybe entries should be all in capitals to avoid confusion here.

Still doesn't change the fact that I was right, marked wrong and then spent quite a bit of town looking for the WRONG answer.

Jack,

Only the serious addict or the nightshift worker are on EO at 5:41am

If the former maybe it's time to:

a/ get help
b/ go to bed
c/ if you've been in bed that's even worse - go back to bed!

If it's the latter I sympathise and know exactly what you are goint through.

Thanks Dave .... but I have always been a early riser. No help needed, had enough sleep, and thoroughly enjoy what each morning brings.

Had brekkie, been for a walk, thoroughly cleaned the pool, tidied up some tools I'd not put away yesterday, cooked wife's brekkie when she got up, read the Sunday paper, had a morning coffee with #3 daughter, chatted to #1 daughter by phone ... and now its almost lunchtime. Time flies when you're having fun ...

Cheers
Jack

I have actually sent an email with thanks for the prizes and saying that I won't enter again (for a while). I am really pleased to win the cap & stubby holders and especially the membership. Have fun guessing the rest and I am trying really hard to resist guessing.
