came up with the idea to move sub tank to the passenger side of the 100 so i can fit the 100 ltr gas tank in the rear.

has anyone done this before ?

Would be nice to keep both fuel pumps and tank and not go for the scuba tanks along the chassis rails that stop the fitting of scrub bars.

Just a thought about the fitting of scrub bars. I imagine the gas tanks stop the scrub bars because the gas tanks go between the outer chassis and the bodywork?

If so then you could always do what is done on Landrovers and actually bolt the bars to the bodywork instead of the chassis. I thought that sounded dodgy too when I first saw it but it seems pretty strong. Not sure if you can have scrub bars like this or just sliders as you would be making a fairly solid link from bodywork to chassis otherwise.

Otherwise maybe you could get a custiom sub tank made to fit the pasenger side instead of trying to fit the factory one (assuming it won't fit).
