I have only just come over to the Nissan family, I hope this is not the 3.0 saga starting again ?
I wondered why when I turned left it went right.
It took a few weeks of intensive training to get used to driving like that and now they want to fix it ! ; ) LOL

If no one ever bought new models we would still be on horses and perishing in the desert ; ) Sometimes you just have to go for it and not live in fear. The meek will not inherit the earth.

My wife told me she saw it in the newspaper. When she called to enquire about it, the guy said dont call unless you recieve a letter.
Its is listed on the Gov site but not on the Nissan site.
Being a new car you'd think they could at least call you personally to enquire if any problems were present with the steering?
I have to wait for a few days to know if mine is an issue or not even though the VIN matches.
My old troopy I traded in is still in the yard, I wonder if that will be the loan car !! LOL, 19 year old 320 on the clock and no problems with it.

Personally I wouldnt worry too much guys, These days MOST models have recall problems. These things are fantasic all rounders in my opinion. Enjoy them while u can.
I still believe if ur in a position to buy new....always wait till the series 2 or preferably 3 comes out..by them all ur problems are gone and u geta great value for money 4b.
Cheers Ange

To be honest I am not too worried. The car has to go in for the steel bar to be fitted in a few days and they will check it then. Thats the thing with recalls one vehicle may of had loose bolt or something minor. The lawyers get hold of it and it becomes a mjor issue.
The lesson was learnt by Firestone and Mitsubishi Trucks. Alot of people died before they came forward. The litagation was savage, and so it should be.
I just think a phone call is good manners, They havent sold that many in Adelade that they couldn't give you a " hows it going, by the way "
