We don't have all that much choice anymore. With feed back the market place should be able to dictate a bit of quality control.

Or the returns will pile up.

Be cautious, I have heard of a case where a 20amp one was tested and was only putting out 7 amps, I know there are alot of variables that can effect the output, just passing on the info.

Cheers

Not so many years ago no one would buy Japanese because it was considered poor quality. Look around your house now and try and find something that is not made in Japan, Taiwan or China.
I think the quality issue is being resolved with each product they produce. If you accept that it may have a slightly shorter life and take the replacement cost into consideration I think that the stuff from China is now a viable option

It is not that China are either good or bad quality, they are both. Something they are definatly are though is: cheap. China can make as good quality for basic stuff as anyone, I doubt they can beat other countries just yet with more complex products but they will be able to match anyone with anything in just a few short years. Having been involved in retail chinese batteries, charges and other stuff I dont have any issue with chinese electrical products.

Just heard the other day that a chinese company went to Brazil and bought a whole car plant to ship back to China.

Wonder if it was the ex VW plant that was shipped from Germany when it was no longer required there and VW set up in Brazil?
