Landcruiser 100 Series 2000 (October build) RV Petrol 4.5
After reading posts on the subect I though that I would look at extending my diff breathers. Got under the cruiser to have a look but I can't find any. Had a feel on the top of each diff and I can't even find a place where they would go. The manulal that I have suggests some models do have them.
Can anybody confirm that they don't have diff breathers.

I think I found them. If anybody is interested I took some photos. It looks like they come off the axle and not the actual diff as suggested in the manual that I have.

G'day,
check out LCOOL - they have a series of articles (with good photos and diagrams) about DIY diff breather extensions for (all ?) cruisers.
Reckon you're right about their location along the top of the axle housings - that's where
mine are on my 78 series.
When I extended
mine, I didn't worry about the little one-way valves which are part of the original assembly, but used (super)cheap fuel filters on the ends of the hoses.
regards
Terry
